Internal fruit rot

Internal fruit rot caused by fungi (most commonly Fusarium) begins inside the pepper, often near the blossom end, but it can also develop in the seed cavity, along the placenta, or on the seeds. In later stages, soft brown spots become visible on the outside of the fruit.
